Attended Henry Ford Community College 1972 - 1974 Began Eastern Michigan University , 1974 - 1977 1st chair in concert bands and Lead in jazz band. After playing for years....decided that you NEVER know enough that you can't learn more. So I looked for some of the top trumpet players in the country to take lessons from. I found myself in NYC with an old friend Rob Slowik, soaking up everything he had to say! He led me to Roger Ingram, then to Jean Pocious, Lynn Nicholson, Walt Szymanski, and currentley with Walter White! WHAT AN EDUCATION.!
How Do You Keep The Music Playing 04.01.145:05
Played with the Katalenic-Kwek Big Band, one of Detroits best. Played road trips with the "Original Temptations",
Contours, many MoTown acts. Years of community Broadway Shows taught me many different styles of playing. I was asked to play with Wayne Bergeron in his back up band, and on stage with him in a Duet. Since then I have been playing in recording studios and as a solo-duet act for Detroit area and east to NYC. Currently employed by L'USA ..... a contemporary Major Event Band.
